"I’m excited to take on this fresh challenge and I can’t wait to begin supporting employers to implement a workplace care policy that makes caregiving sustainable and preventing burnout."
- Hollie Nairn, Head of Sales at Yurtle

Last month, Yurtle secured £1.37mn in funding to support company growth and the wider roll-out of its proposition. This funding coincides with the Carers Leave Act which will introduce a statutory entitlement of up to one week of unpaid carers leave annually.

Today, Yurtle has announced the appointment of Hollie Nairn as Head of Sales. Prior to this appointment, Hollie served as Business Development Lead at Buck. She’s also worked as a Business Development Manager at Legal & General, Sales Consultant at Unum UK, and Group Risk Sales Consultant at Aviva.

In her new role, Hollie will lead Yurtle’s drive for growth, focusing on engaging intermediaries, building partnerships with providers, and developing the proposition. She will also be responsible for creating a holistic marketing strategy.

“During my career, I’ve worked with many employers, helping them to support workplace wellbeing through a vast range of insurances and services. I’ve seen the growing need to support caregivers, so I’m delighted to join Yurtle at this crucial time,” she said.

Hollie expressed that it’s hard to find anyone who hasn’t experienced caregiving at some point in their life – “I’m no different.” She’ll be drawing on these experiences to bring the Yurtle proposition to life, within its network of intermediaries and provider partners.

Antonio Ribeiro, Founder of Yurtle, said he’s delighted to welcome Hollie as the new (and first) Head of Sales. “She embodies our values of kindness, authenticity, and accountability, and we trust her to elevate the way things are done at Yurtle. She’s already shown her ability to challenge and enhance our current approach and has first-hand experience of caregiver support propositions,” he explained.

“We’re proud Hollie chose us, and together our aim is to change the landscape of caregiver support in the workplace, the single most pressing need of our generation faces given our rapidly ageing population.”
